Review: Rouge Louboutin Nail Varnish by Christian Louboutin

Calling all shoe & beauty addict's its here FINALLY!
The shoe & beauty lover that I am, this is my fave beauty product of the year so far!

Shoe designer extraordinaire Christian Louboutin has created Beaute Louboutin, a beauty range started with of course Rouge Louboutin, A nail lacquer the exact same red as his iconic red sole.
I've waited for this for, what feels like a lifetime! So when I got the email with its release I was straight online. Ive had this product for a few weeks now so good time to test it out.

Firstly the packaging and bottle itself, a HUGE bottle with a sleek elegant brush, at first when I saw that the spike is part of the brush I thought how on earth am I going to be able to paint my nails with this, turns out its actually pretty easy and I prefer a longer handle to a shorter one. It comes in a small back box that encloses the faceted glass bottle. A beautiful dressing table piece.

Now onto the look and finish of the actual nail varnish, I was expecting it to be amazing and really hoped it would live upto the expectation I had and it not only did it live up to it but definitely exceeded my expectation!
The nail varnish arrived the morning I had to go to work, I already had on some Bio Sculpture gel that needed to come off however, I couldn't resist doing a quick coat on my nails just to see the colour. One coat was amazing it dried in normal nail varnish drying time, I had a full day at work opening a 6 box delivery and doing makeup all day and not one chip and there wasn't even a top coat on! I was so impressed.

ROUGE LOUBOUTIN £36.00
Available from the Christian Louboutin Website

So then took my gel off and done them properly, 2 coats a perfect red and I had it on 2 full weeks before I needed to change it! I am over the moon with the Rouge Louboutin and can't wait for him to extend the Beaute Louboutin range.. red lipstick next please?!

Happy Nail painting!

Wish-list Fall '14

Apologies for not posting sooner! I know its been a while and as autumn is forever getting closer I thought Id do my fall wishlist! a few of these products I've wanted for a while now and are more staple items than one-off's so here goes:

1. Black leather ankle boot by Acne £330 / High street option 'TOBY' By Kurt Geiger £140
A classic black ankle boot like this will never go out of fashion so definitely something to invest in.

2. Leather backpack by Topshop £80.00
As i'm going to university in september I've been looking more at backpacks than handbags they just seem so much more practical and allot easier to carry this one from Topshop is slightly more expensive because its real leather but you can get faux leather ones for allot cheaper if you don't really want to invest in one.

3. Mensy Blazer by Boutique at Topshop £120
This is in my wish list purely because I wore my last blazer/jacket to death and it was the best money I ever spent, you can get cheaper versions of this but as a tall girl this one fits perfectly for my height. With the cheaper ones I've found them not to fit quite right and be way too small on the arms.

4. Cut out trainers by Chanel £590
Okay I know these are soooo expensive but i just think they are soooooo beautiful! and I can't find a high street copy ANYWHERE! so if anyone knows please comment or email me and let me know!

5. Straight fit cotton shirt MM6 by Maison Martin Margiela £310
The classic white shirt that every woman should own but with a bit of a quirky twist definatly a fall must have. High street option form & Other Stories £13! In the sale so be quick.

6. Chanel Rouge Coco hydrating lip colour in 'Sentiment' £25
Because who doesn't need a Chanel nude?

7. Charlotte tilbury Super Model body £45
This is like Victoria Secret model skin in a tube! Im lucky that one of my closest friends Charley is the business manager for Charlotte Tilbury at Selfridges Birmingham where I work, so its only a short wonder from the NARS counter to go and see whats new, and when she showed me this OMG its got toning and sculpting ingredients and is he most beautiful glow on skin I've ever seen! with party season soon approaching this is a definite must have!

8. Hydra Beauty nutrition face creme by Chanel £55
This was a tough one as I have a few favourite moisturisers and my next beauty blog will be a skincare blog. However this is an amazing moisturiser especially if like me over the summer your skin has become dehydrated from all the sun and fun. I like hydrating moisturisers but not ones that feel sticky on the skin and this one is perfect, I would definitely recommend.

9. Charlotte Tilbury Full Fat Lashes £22
I haven't tried this yet but I've read so much about it and my friend Charley, who I mentioned above, showed me her lashes with it on and They looked so long and thick but not dry which is hard to find in a lengthening mascara.

Now, numbers 10&11 I need your help I'm looking for firstly some delicate necklaces with the Hand of Fatima symbol on that don't cost the earth and secondly a lacy triangle bra that again isn't going to cost me £80+ I have found some bra's but they are so expensive so I am on the hunt for both of these items still!

Thanks for reading, Happy Shopping! oxox
